In the dense fog, in the mud and mire, and in the nasty winter weather something special is happening in the City of Auburn Hills.
Work has begun on the much-anticipated Topgolf Auburn Hills project. The goal is to have the $12.5 million golf-themed hospitality and entertainment complex near Great Lakes Crossing Outlets open by this December.
Topgolf Auburn Hills will be located between I-75 and Great Lakes Crossing Drive, west of Joslyn Road
Significant site grading is underway and the building pad is being prepared to start structural foundations. Construction is also moving forward for the site utilities, including storm water sewer and water main. Crews have begun to relocate a major storm water sewer line that currently bisects the site and are creating a new outlet for the storm water detention basin. Last week, jack/bore work was completed beneath Great Lakes Crossing Drive for a water main connection and now on-site water main lines are being installed.

Stay tuned for periodic updates on this landmark project in the months ahead.
