‘Tis the Season for Charitable Giving

The Auburn Hills Community Foundation (AHCF) wishes to be your “charity of choice” for charitable giving this holiday season.  If you believe in having an impact on your immediate community and helping your neighbors, a donation to the AHCF is the answer.  Operated by an all-volunteer board of caring and compassionate community leaders, you can be assured that your contributions will not only be directed to the Auburn Hills community, but nearly all our funds go for direct support and nearly every year, less than 2% is used for operating expenses of the foundation for such basic things as stationery supplies and postage.  No AHCF dollars are spent on staffing for the foundation.  Areas of focus for the foundation is to provide funding that supports Senior Citizens, Veterans, Children, Healthy Living Initiatives, and Environmental Initiatives. We have supported organizations that support our residents with such things as emergency rent assistance to prevent eviction, emergency utility bill assistance to prevent shut-offs, food pantry, financial and job counseling, transportation for seniors and the disabled for important appointments, and various other activities based on the idea of a hand up, not a handout.   The AHCF accepts donations of any size, and whether you are capable of giving $10 or $10,000, each contribution is greatly appreciated.
