SL America Moving North American Engineering Center to Auburn Hills

SL America, a Tier 1 supplier of exterior lighting, gear shifters, electronics, and pedal modules for the automotive industry has announced plans to invest approximately $5.5 million in the City of Auburn Hills. The company has outgrown its current facility in Sterling Heights and plans to expand into a 40,000 sq. ft. building located at 4375 Giddings Road. The move will create a larger North American engineering center for the company and employ 118 people. SL America is a subsidiary of South Korea-based SL Corporation. Their primary customers are Hyundai-Kia, GM, and Ford.
