A development application has been submitted by JB Donaldson Company to the City of Auburn Hills for mass grading and tree removal permit approval. The company wishes to prepare a useable industrial building pad on a 10.49-acre site that is located at the northeast corner of Pinnacle Court and Harmon Road.

The company anticipates starting the land balancing project upon City approval and completing the operation by the end of September. It is estimated that 36,000 cubic yards of material will be moved on-site. They do not anticipate the need to bring off-site fill to the property to level the site.
JB Donaldson Company has constructed several buildings in Auburn Hills over the years, with the most recent being the Kia Dealership in the Dutton Corporate Centre. They are currently building a 14,350 square foot corporate headquarters and technical center for Matrix Engineered Systems at 1850 Taylor Road and a 125,000 square foot corporate office and technical center for Esys Automation at 1000 Brown Road.
Those interested in learning more about this proposal are encouraged to attend the Planning Commission meeting scheduled for tonight, Wednesday, July 11th at 7:00 p.m., in the Council Chamber at City Hall. A final decision on the application is anticipated by the City Council on Monday, July 23rd.
