We’re flying high (pardon the pun) …
The Auburn Hills Planning Commission is set to review plans for the proposed 181,122 sq. ft. headquarters for Visioneering, Inc. The project consisting of offices, a design center, and manufacturing operations will be situated on a 17.89 acre site located immediately west of I-75, north of Taylor Road.
Founded in Michigan in 1953, Visioneering has become a leading designer, manufacturer, and installer of assembly tooling systems for the aerospace and defense industry. The company provides services worldwide and currently supports over 30 active commercial aerospace, general aviation, and military/defense programs.
Visioneering intends to consolidate three of their facilities located in Fraser to this new facility, which will initially employ 150 people. The site has additional land for a future building expansion which would accommodate their growth needs.

Upon receiving City Council approval, the project’s ground breaking is anticipated to take place this summer with completion occurring sometime in spring 2015.
Those interested in learning more about this new development are encouraged to attend the public hearing at the Planning Commission’s meeting scheduled for Tuesday, May 6th at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall in the Council Chamber.
