Our Annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner was a tremendous success! This year’s theme, Passport to Service: A Journey Through Auburn Hills, beautifully captured the spirit of the evening as we celebrated the incredible dedication of our volunteers.
Together, we recognized nearly 8,000 hours of service given to our community, an inspiring reflection of the impact that generosity and commitment can make.
We were proud to honor this year’s outstanding recipients:
Creative Empowerment, Tom Clark, Jean and Preston Boyd, Judy Polick, Susan Szczepanski, Asalei Giles, Kaelyn Gee, Amaiya Hardiman, Caleb Patillo, Darlene MacMillan, and Terri Nichols. These individuals represent a wide range of programs, including Meals on Wheels, Summer Camp, Recreation Programs, and City Events.

Guests enjoyed a wonderful evening featuring a delicious dinner catered by private Chef Shar Shobe, along with music by Aaron Caruso, making the celebration even more memorable.
A heartfelt thank you to our generous sponsors who helped make the evening so spectacular: Bakehouse 46, The Bagel Spot, Busch’s Market, Costco, Chick-fil-A, Dave’s Hot Chicken, Dedo’s Deli, Gordon Food Service, O’Grizzly’s Bar & Grill, Impression 5, Meadow Brook Theatre, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Right Hook, Sandbox VR, Topgolf, Trader Joe’s, Twin Peaks, Whole Foods, and Cantina El Dorado.
We truly appreciate our community partners for everything they do to help make Auburn Hills a great place to live, work, and play.
Thank you to all who joined us, and most importantly, thank you to our volunteers. Your dedication and service continue to make our community a better place!
