Celebrating the 2024 Rake & Run Volunteers

As fall brings crisp air and colorful leaves, the 2024 Rake & Run program has been underway, making a huge difference in our community. Thanks to an outpouring of volunteer support, we've already helped 20 seniors keep their homes tidy, with another 16 homes still scheduled. This effort is more than just raking leaves—it’s about showing our seniors they’re valued and supported.

We are deeply grateful for our incredible volunteers, whose dedication has been invaluable. This year, we’re honored to have the support of companies like TI Fluid Systems, Benteler, Volkswagen, AM General, Stellantis, Dodge, and Engineering Groups. Local groups, including Resolved at Five Points Youth Groups, Auburn Hills Christian Church, Grupo Antolin, and dedicated individuals like Rachael Carver and Matthew Nellist, have shown tremendous commitment. Plus, our community's younger members have stepped up with the Oakland University Hockey Team and the Latin and Ballroom Dance Teams, putting in countless hours to make a real difference.

Thank you all for your hard work, energy, and dedication to making our Rake & Run a success. The impact you’ve made on our seniors’ lives is priceless, and we are lucky to have such a generous community behind us.
