Books, Bugs, and Birthdays!

Books, Bugs, and Birthdays!! That is how our campers started off their week at the Auburn Hills Summer Day Camp! Campers walked over to the library, and enjoyed reading books and playing board games with their friends! Ms. Candie and Ms. Nikki began our time with a fun and active song, and then gave our campers lots of options to enjoy at the library. The children read books quietly on the cozy cushions while other campers challenged each other in a game of chess.
Some of the boys discovered a huge bug on the comfort station wall, and each camper was most respectful and looked at it only with their eyes. Following that, all of our campers sang Happy Birthday to our precious Seniors, who were celebrating birthdays and anniversaries in July. Our campers made special cards for each of them, too. What a fun way to start off our busy week!
