On July 16, Auburn Hills City Council and staff had the pleasure of attending the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for Superior Electric Great Lakes. Superior Electric Great Lakes, a full-service electrical contractor with extensive engineering and design-build expertise, completed the build-out of a new 44,000-square-foot speculative building just west of Giddings Road to accommodate its relocation from its previous Troy location. In addition, Superior Electric took over the former Grupo Antolin building on Atlantic Boulevard, a 129,000-square-foot facility that includes office and warehouse space. The two buildings are connected by a restored pedestrian bridge.

The facility offers a balanced mix of office, manufacturing, and warehousing space. With a talented team of in-house contractors and the opportunity to start from scratch in a larger space, Superior Electric Great Lakes was able to create an enhanced work environment including a fitness center, social space, catering setup, snack bar, dining area, auditorium. Our team had the opportunity to tour the company's hybrid open and quiet workspaces, collaboration stations, and beautiful conference rooms featuring the latest AV technology, a service Superior Electric Great Lakes also provides to its clients. The new facility is also dog-friendly, and, lucky for our team, the tour included a meet-and-greet with Pebbles, a German Shorthaired Pointer hard at work in the office.
Congratulations on your new space, and welcome to Auburn Hills!
