Auburn Hills Welcomes IKEA to Great Lakes Crossing Outlets

Yesterday, August 27, IKEA opened a 4,500-square-foot pop-up store at Great Lakes Crossing Outlets, located in District 2 near Nordstrom Rack and Dick’s Sporting Goods. Auburn Hills City Council and staff, along with the Auburn Hills Chamber of Commerce, joined the ribbon-cutting celebration.

The pop-up concept is designed to bring IKEA closer to the community and make it more accessible. No longer will Auburn Hills residents have to drive to Canton to stock up on frozen Swedish meatballs, cookies, kitchen gadgets, picture frames, pots, and more than 600 other products available for immediate takeaway. Qualifying online orders can also be picked up at the new location, and visitors can receive inspiration and personalized support from IKEA planners to help design and furnish spaces throughout their homes.
