We were pleased to host Congresswoman Stevens yesterday at the Auburn Hills Public Safety Building. Auburn Hills is within the 11th Congressional District with several other communities throughout southeast Michigan. Those who attended shared concerns with her as well as success stories. Regardless of what side of the aisle you are on, nearly everyone agrees that Congresswoman Stevens and her staff are very attentive and responsive. She certainly is to Auburn Hills. The Congresswoman hosts these district meetings for local leaders from time-to-time and Auburn Hills offered to host this meeting. It gave Auburn Hills an opportunity to share its success stories with those in attendance and provide an update not only on what is happening in our community, but also to express ways in which the Congresswoman can assist us in being an even greater community for our residents, businesses, and visitors.

Thank you to Congresswoman Stevens and her staff for visiting yesterday and engaging in a number of important conversations.
Thomas A. Tanghe, City Manager
