Two months ago, it was announced by the Michigan Strategic Fund Board that AM General, a heavy duty military and civilian vehicle manufacturer, planned to move its engineering and advanced technology offices for prototype development to the City of Auburn Hills.
AM General is a world leader in the design, engineering, manufacturing, and support of Light Tactical Vehicles. They produce the High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV or Humvee®)
As part of their relocation, AM General has applied for a Special Land Use Permit to create a screened and secured outside storage area on the south side of their new home located at 1399 Pacific Drive.
