A Most Spectacular SPOOKTACULAR

Posted on: October 27, 2025

Approximately 2,500 people descended upon downtown Auburn Hills on Saturday at noon for the 20th Annual Spooktacular. With sunny blue skies, and a temperature around 50 degrees, it couldn’t have been a more perfect fall day in southeast Michigan. Merchants and community organizations went out of their way to participate in what is the largest and most successful Spooktacular event ever held in Auburn Hills. From candy to trinkets, the kids loved this trick-or-treating event which showcases downtown Auburn Hills and provides for a safe and festive activity centered around Halloween. This event, organized by the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is one of many that is now hosted in our downtown which has become an extraordinary gathering place for those in and around our community to enjoy. The event also included a visit from Bluey and her sister, Bingo. The joy of hosting community events such as this is about the lasting memories created for all.

A huge THANKS to everyone who participated, whether you were handing out candy or attending as a trick-or-treater. Next up is our annual Tree Lighting Ceremony which will be held in our new Public Square and across our downtown and featuring our new breathtaking 40-foot Christmas tree. Mark your calendar now for Friday, December 5 at 6:00 p.m.
