I’ve blogged before about women in leadership roles here at the City of Auburn Hills. Every once in a while I like to revisit the org chart to remind myself about where we are at in terms of our mix of men and women who are in Director or Deputy/Assistant Director roles. We have for some time held the distinction of being at about 50/50. That still holds true today. But today we recognize another first for us; the addition of our first full time female Firefighter/Paramedic. Breana Deming has joined our Team, coming to us from Orion Township. Her experience, enthusiasm and professionalism are certainly welcomed in our organization and she joins, if you don’t mind me saying, a great Fire Department. Congratulations Breana and welcome to Auburn Hills!
