Driving along I-75 you can’t miss it. Well, that’s the point!
McLaren Health Plan recently installed a new sign on the former Champion Building at 2701 Cambridge Court. It boldly announces the company’s expansion into the Southeast Michigan market.
This is not a medical facility. The new offices will house the administrative, sales, and support personnel for the insurance provider, which is known for offering a variety of health care options such as HMO, Point of Service, PPO, and Medicaid plans.
In addition, the McLaren Physician Hospital Organization has joined McLaren Health Plan at the building. This organization is a partnership between McLaren Health Care and its physicians. Doctors who join the organization receive medical staff privileges at McLaren hospitals and facilities throughout the State, along with other financial and efficiency benefits from grouping together.
It’s great to have McLaren join our community. Their investment has definitely breathed new life into this landmark building.
