Spooktacular Achieves "MONSTER" Attendance Record

Here’s the recipe to a potion for success. Mix clear and sunny skies with temperatures in the high 60’s, blend in participating merchants and organizations, sprinkle in a couple of dozen volunteers, and finally, add in plenty of candy and other items to give away, and you get the most successful Spooktacular ever held in downtown Auburn Hills. An estimated 3,500 kids and adults attended Saturday’s 21st Annual Spooktacular. The event takes place in the core of downtown, along Auburn Road from N. Squirrel to S. Squirrel. By the time the event began at Noon, hundreds had already lined up and participants came from not only Auburn Hills, but many surrounding communities . There were a lot of great costumes worn by the kids, but plenty of adults also were in the Halloween spirit by dressing in costume too.

Thank you to our downtown merchants as well as the community organizations that participated. You made Spooktacular 2026 the best ever!
