Posted on: October 5, 2022
The City of Auburn Hills celebrated the Ribbon Cutting of FLO, a North American Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Station Manufacturer, on Tuesday morning, October 4th.

We are proud to welcome FLO to our growing business community, as they join the ranks of other prominent corporations working to support the automotive industry here in Auburn Hills.
However, it wasn’t just Auburn Hills welcoming FLO to the city. Speakers at the ribbon cutting included Mayor Kevin McDaniel, Delegate Mario Limoges, State Rep. Brenda Carter, Senator Gary Peters, Senator Debbie Stabenow (via video message), the General Motors EV Infrastructure Strategy & Development Manager Aaron Wolff, Lieutenant Governor Garlin Gilchrist II, and FLO CEO Louis Tremblay.

In their first year in Auburn Hills, FLO expects to create 133 jobs and to produce approximately 4,500 EV charging stations. And, by 2028, FLO anticipates creating 730 jobs while producing 30,000 EV charging stations each year.
As the automotive manufacturing world evolves and takes different shapes, companies like FLO will help keep Auburn Hills at the forefront of the industry.
