Many bars and restaurants continue to experience significant hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the associated emergency orders issued by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. In an effort to assist bars and restaurants throughout Oakland County, the Oakland County Board of Commissioners allocated $3 million for cities, villages and townships (CVTs) to assist these types of businesses with adapting their operations and to support their safe reopening.
To help address the needs of these establishments, Oakland County developed a grant program and made available to CVTs certain products and supplies for distribution. The City of Auburn Hills received the following:
