Since Borders book stores closed their doors, the 25,009 square foot building at 3924 Baldwin Road remained vacant in the midst of the buzzing retail area. But that’s about to change.

We soon will welcome 2nd & Charles. New to Michigan, 2nd & Charles is a fun, technology driven bookstore that gives us the opportunity to reuse and recycle our books and media.

They buy and sell all kinds of used books, CDs from all genres, DVDs & Blu-Ray, Video Games and Game Systems, Comics, iPads, Ipods, eReaders, Vinyl Records and Audio Books. They make offers to purchase your items based on the condition of the items and their current inventory.
You’ll never know what kind of treasures you’re going to find. Somebody’s old favorite is sure to be recycled and transformed into something new and interesting for the next shopper.
Construction has already begun, so watch for an update on their grand opening!
