Fitness blogs abound at this time of year. Everyone jumps on the bandwagon with New Year’s resolutions – armed with the latest workout apps and diets, determined (this time) to make a physical transformation that lasts. But, without the right focus and support, the best intentions can fizzle out. Enter Fit Body Boot Camp.
The new Fit Body Boot Camp in Auburn Hills takes a no-nonsense approach to fitness, and Owner/Trainer Brian Johnson wants you to succeed. He is the trainer for all classes, and he’s passionate about helping people achieve their health, weight loss, and fitness goals. His enthusiasm is downright contagious.
With a life-long love of sports and training, Brian earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Saginaw Valley State University and went on to receive certification in both personal and group training.
The workout is a combination of resistance training with high-intensity interval cardio which is modified to fit individual fitness levels. Brian offers three free boot camp sessions to try it out before making a commitment. “Everyone leaves the classes happy,” he explains. “Anyone can do it, no experience necessary.”
Classes are held Monday through Friday in the morning and in the late afternoon/early evening hours to accommodate work schedules. On Saturday morning he offers a ‘Butts and Guts’ session he describes as “A fan favorite” which focuses on the lower body and core strength.
Fit Body Boot Camp is located at 4161 Baldwin Road. We wish Brian a healthy, successful 2018 and beyond!
