Did you know that the City of Auburn Hills is a WaterTown?

You bet we are!   So, we wanted to let you know that we’ll be working closely with the Clinton River Watershed Council (CRWC) on their new initiative to promote the water-oriented activities in and around our “WaterTown.”

Lots of people enjoy the Clinton River which runs through our WaterTown.

One of the goals of the CRWC’s WaterTowns initiative will be to develop a vision map for the entire watershed, from the headwaters of the Clinton River all the way to coastal Lake St. Clair.  The map will highlight opportunities to maximize the potential of the region to attract and retain residents and businesses by offering a unique quality of life and sense of place supported by local water resources.

The Clinton River watershed covers approximately 760 square miles in four Southeast Michigan counties
