Construction has started on the second phase of The Parkways of Auburn Hills, which consists of a total of 30 two-story townhome units. The new buildings will be located on the west side of Raleigh Avenue, between Pierce Avenue and Forester Boulevard adjacent to the Forester Square Condominiums.
Phase Two will consist of two 8-unit townhouses, one 10-unit townhouse, and one 4-unit townhouse. All buildings will be two-stories tall, similar to the adjacent seven townhouse-style buildings completed in Phase One. The units will include a modern kitchen and dining area, a living room, three bedrooms, two and half baths, and two-car attached garages.
The townhouses will be initially developed as rental units, with the intent to convert them to owner-occupied condominiums in the future. The first unit should be ready for occupancy in early 2021. The starting rental price for a unit is anticipated to be $2,100 per month.
