A great day on Saturday as downtown Auburn Hills was bustling with hundreds upon hundreds of children and adults making their way down the sidewalks and collecting candy and other goodies from the various merchants and organizations who participated in this year’s Spooktacular event. Although a bit cold, it was a dry day which meant that the weather didn’t prevent anyone who wanted to come out for this annual event from doing so.
Spooktacular is a great example of the community coming together and proves just how great a place our downtown is for community-wide events. Thanks to everyone who participated including nearly all of the merchants, the Morning Optimist Club, Auburn Hills Chamber of Commerce, the Tax Increment Finance Authority, and students who volunteered from the Oakland University Honors College (pictured above).
