SeptemBEERfest Ticket Sales Help Local Nonprofit

Over the last few years SeptemBEERfest has become a signature event for Downtown Auburn Hills. Hosted by the Auburn Hills Downtown Development Authority (DDA), this event is synonymous with good food, great entertainment, and excellent craft beer. What many might not realize is that all of it is for a wonderful cause as well. All proceeds from ticket sales go directly to Neighborhood House (NH), a local nonprofit that assists many individuals and families right here in Auburn Hills.

In 2022, SeptemBEERfest raised over $13,000.00 for Neighborhood House which used it to help just under 160 Auburn Hills residents and families. Interested in knowing what all that help entailed? So was I! Kim Ronan, Director of Fund Development at NH provided me with some specifics of what services these individuals and families received.

332 visits to the NH Clothes Closet

20 received Personal Counseling
19 received Employment Guidance
14 received Utility Assistance

That certainly is a great amount of help provided and surely appreciated by those in receipt! Who knew 40 bucks for your fill of food, beer, and music could also add up to so much for so many!?
