Michigan’s first Marble Slab Creamery has opened in Great Lakes Crossing Outlets. If you haven’t heard of this sweet spot before, you’re in for a treat!
Owner, Al Kana, opened the 600 square foot Marble Slab Creamery on July 31st after opening a Great American Cookies kiosk in the mall just months earlier. Marble Slab offers customers fresh, homemade ice cream and a variety of “unlimited” toppings and mix-ins, prepared on large marble slabs. The combinations are, of course, endless.
A couple of their suggested mixes include the “Caramel Peanut Butter Crisp”, which is sweet cream with crushed Butterfinger, chocolate chips and caramel. For something that sounds healthier, there’s the “Trail Mix” combination with sweet cream, M&M’s, granola and walnuts. These are only suggestions. You’ll have to stop by and create your own original combination.
Marble Slab Creamery is located in District 7, just past Sea Life Aquarium. We wish Mr. Kana much success in his new venture.
