New Workspace for Fire Department Administration

Recently, we celebrated a ribbon cutting in honor of our new Fire Department Administration Building. Fire Department administrative staff moved from the Public Safety Building into the municipal campus building located at 3410 E. Seyburn Road.

A talented team from our Department of Public Works updated the existing building to make it functional for our Fire Chief, Assistant Fire Chief, Fire Inspectors and supporting staff.

The move was instigated by the growth our Fire Department has been experiencing since transitioning from a 12-hour shift operating model to 24-hour shifts. As the administrative staff settles into their new office space, renovations will take place at Fire Station 2 to modernize the living accommodations. The update will relocate the living quarters from the basement to the main floor, improving response to service calls, and provide our skilled, full-time firefighters with the support they need to better serve our community.
