Fall is a beautiful season for some and a lot of work for others. The leaves will be a fallin’ and something needs to be done with them.

We wanted to let citizens know that there are two options to help keep leaves and yard waste under control.
- Open Burn – Click here for a short and informative video featuring Assistant Fire Chief Randy Wyatt. Randy does a great job in this video and is well worth the few minutes it takes to watch. He explains the proper procedures for burning leaves and when you may do it. Also, please be courteous of the potential negative effect smoke may have on your neighbors and surroundings.
- Bag and Curbside Pick-up. Click here to learn more about the City’s new single waste hauler program where bagged leaves and yard waste can now be picked-up at the curb by Waste Management.
Please review the above website links to learn the different ways to properly address leaves and yard waste to keep our neighborhoods looking their best.
Enjoy the Fall as much as you can because Ole’ Man Winter is right around the corner.
