An application has been submitted to the City of Auburn Hills by DEI Properties to develop a 53,000 sq. ft. speculative office / light industrial building on property located at 2041 Auburn Road. The investment is estimated at $5 million.

As part of the project, the developer proposes to dedicate approximately eight acres of land on both sides of the Clinton River to the City, which includes the site of the former Country Kitchen Restaurant. The final use of the new open space has yet to be determined, however the existing gravel parking lot will be removed and new grass is anticipated to be added by the developer later this year.
Site Plan
Those interested in learning more about this proposal are encouraged to attend the public hearing at the Planning Commission meeting scheduled for Wednesday, July 13th at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber at City Hall. A final decision on the project is anticipated to be made by the City Council on Monday, July 25th.
