Auburn Hills Welcomes Dédo’s Deli

Posted on: January 14, 2026

On January 13, Auburn Hills City Council members and staff joined the Auburn Hills Chamber of Commerce to celebrate Dédo’s Deli with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Located on University Drive at the former bd’s Mongolian Grill site, this welcoming new deli is in an ideal location to serve university students, local professionals, and families. Follow @dedosdeli on Instagram or visit dedosdeli.com for their grand opening date.

If food is a love language, then Jackie and Bill Turner, owners of Dédo’s Deli, are truly fluent. Inspired by Jackie’s parents, the deli is rooted in a deep appreciation for fresh, quality food made from the heart. The name “Dédo” (deh-doh), which means grandfather in Macedonian, is a fitting tribute to Jackie’s immigrant parents, Baba and Dédo Ljupco, who have owned and operated Cityscape Deli in Bloomfield for 30 years.

Dédo’s Deli is bringing back customer favorites, including a turkey sandwich topped with coleslaw and Russian dressing, homemade mushroom barley soup, and perfectly baked chocolate chip cookies. The deli will surely become a favorite lunch spot, at least for this City Hall employee!
