Clinton River Trail Amenities
Posted on: June 6, 2024
The Clinton River Trail offers a range of amenities designed to enhance your experience. If you’re driving in, park at the Opdyke trailhead between Auburn Road and South Boulevard, or in the municipal lot at 25 Grey Road. Stay hydrated with convenient hydration stations positioned at trailheads. Take a moment to rest and admire the surroundings on one of the park benches situated near Squirrel and Adams. Need a spot for a picnic or a gathering? Head to the gazebo at the Opdyke trailhead and make use of the picnic table.

Picture this: you’re gearing up for a leisurely bike ride along the Clinton River Trail, but just as you’re about to embark on your adventure, you realize that your brakes are loose, your seat needs adjusting, or worse—your tires are flat, and you don’t have a pump at home.
We’ve all been there, and we know how frustrating it can be. That’s why, in 2020, the City of Auburn Hills added two Bicycle Fix-It stations along the Clinton River Trail, designed to help cyclists overcome these common obstacles. Located at strategic points along the trail—one at the Opdyke Trailhead and another at the Moceri Hydration Station near Adams Road—these Fix-It stations empower cyclists to address common maintenance issues on the spot. Each Fix-It station features a QR code linking to detailed instructional videos on common repairs and is equipped with the tools necessary to repair flat tires and adjust brakes and gears. Whether you’re cycling, jogging, or simply strolling, these amenities ensure your journey is both comfortable and enjoyable.
