On Monday, March 16, City Council members and City staff, along with the Auburn Hills Chamber of Commerce, celebrated the ribbon cutting of Physical Therapy and Rehab Specialists.
Trevor Barthel, who has six years of experience treating patients in the Metro Detroit area, recently relocated his clinic to Auburn Hills. You can find the new office in University Plaza, at the former site of bd's Mongolian Grill. The clinic stands apart from others in the area because it offers one-on-one care with a licensed physical therapist throughout each session. Patients work directly with Trevor for their entire program.

During the ribbon cutting, Trevor highlighted the importance of physical therapy in supporting recovery, but also for overall wellness. In addition to rehabilitation following surgeries such as knee replacements, physical therapy can also help address dizziness, vertigo, headaches and balance issues. Trevor especially enjoys working with older adults on balance support, emphasizing that early intervention can help prevent more serious health complications.
Did you know? In Michigan, patients can begin physical therapy for a limited time without a prescription, allowing patients to seek care right away instead of waiting for a doctor's visit.
Congratulations to Physical Therapy and Rehab Specialists, and welcome to Auburn Hills. It's certainly not a stretch to say we're excited you're here! Learn more about the practice at: https://ptandrehab.urpt.com/locations/auburn-hills/
