Auburn Hills Partners with Vitesco Technologies for Earth Day Cleanup

On Friday, April 25, the City of Auburn Hills teamed up with Vitesco Technologies for a cleanup event at Hawk Woods Park and Campground in honor of Earth Day. The focus of the event was on park maintenance, beautification, and tree planting.

30 volunteers from Vitesco Technologies along with 10 staff members from Auburn Hills’ Parks and Grounds Division, worked together to complete several tasks. They spread 30 yards of playscape mulch and 40 yards of wood chips and landscape mulch throughout the park, improving the play areas and surrounding spaces. In addition, volunteers and staff planted 10 new trees to help maintain the park’s green spaces.

The City of Auburn Hills appreciates the contribution of Vitesco Technologies and its employees. This collaboration helped improve the park and supports ongoing efforts to keep Auburn Hills' public spaces well-maintained and sustainable.
