Iron Chef-Worthy

It seems like every day in the Community Development Department is an adventure.  We work with so many unique and exciting companies.

Recently, a Building Permit application reconnected me with a business I visited a few years ago … one of my very favorites.

Trevarrow, Inc. is a wholesale distributor of upscale residential kitchen equipment located at 1295 N. Opdyke Rd.

In their well-appointed showroom you’ll find the latest appliance offerings such as Sub-Zero and Wolf in a variety of full-scale kitchen settings.

As if walking through the showroom isn’t tempting enough, they offer product demonstrations including the opportunity to sample delicious foods.

For those who enjoy learning new recipes, Trevarrow offers “Cuisine du Jour” – a hands-on culinary training program with some of Michigan’s top chefs.

Classes are held in their Culinary Training Auditorium where attendees sit in comfortable stadium-seating, which overlook a beautiful state-of-the-art kitchen.  Students get to participate in the preparation and creation of the dishes and best of all … eat.  Notes and recipes go home with the students.  To register for their events click here.
