Celebrate Summer: A Local’s Guide to Summerfest 2026

Posted on: June 15, 2026

Summerfest is approaching fast, and I, for one, am so excited for all the festivities happening this year. Summer is one of the best times to come together as a community, and Summerfest 2026 is shaping up to be a celebration you will not want to miss. Whether you are coming for food, family fun, live entertainment, or simply a chance to spend time with neighbors and friends, this year’s event is packed with activities for all ages to enjoy.

Kickoff Event: Drone Show (6/18)

Before the main festivities even begin, join us Thursday evening for a special drone show celebrating America’s 250th birthday. As we honor this historic milestone, the night sky will come to life in a unique, unforgettable display.

All-Day Fun & Activities

As Summerfest officially gets underway, guests can look forward to a variety of lively activities happening all day long:

  • Interactive Fun for All: Inflatable attractions, face painting, temporary tattoos, a scavenger hunt, and hula hoop competitions.
  • Games & Memories: Test your aim at the dunk tank, challenge friends to classic yard games, and stop by the photo booth to capture memories.
  • Special Attractions: Don't miss the Pet Parade or the Classic Car Show featuring timeless favorites.
  • Makers Market: Shop unique handmade items, specialty products, and fun treasures from local vendors.

Food & Sweet Treats

Cool off with refreshing Italian ice or check out fair concessions offering delicious options throughout Friday and Saturday. On Friday night, enjoy the classic Ice Cream Social.

Live Music & Loyalty Cards

It would not be Summerfest without live music! Enjoy performances from Jovi, a Bon Jovi tribute on Friday at 7:00 PM and Sunset Blvd on Saturday at 7:00 PM. While you’re out, check out our new Downtown Groove Club loyalty cards for the Friday Night Concert Series and start collecting stamps for a chance to win prizes!

Summerfest is more than just an event; it is a chance to come together, celebrate what makes our community special, and enjoy everything summer has to offer. We are so excited to celebrate with you and can’t wait to see you there!
