Celebrating Service at the 2024 Volunteer Appreciation Dinner

We had a wonderful evening honoring the heart of our community at the 2024 Volunteer Appreciation Dinner. This annual event recognizes the invaluable contributions of our volunteers who, in 2024 alone, gave over 7,500 hours of service to help others and strengthen our community.

Our volunteers play a vital role in programs such as Meals on Wheels and support a wide range of local initiatives and events throughout the city.

This year, we were also proud to recognize several outstanding individuals and organizations whose efforts went above and beyond:

Youth Volunteer of the Year: Anaiya Carr
Knowledge and Care Ambassador of the Year: Tim Farrell
Meals on Wheels Ambassadors of the Year: Itanya Montgomery and Carolyn Stormer
Directors’ Award: Bob and Sharon Pierce
Company of the Year: Dutton Farms

Bob and Sharon Pierce received the Director's Award for over 17 years of dedicated service with Meals on Wheels.

Dutton Farms was recognized for their outstanding partnership and support of the Meals on Wheels program.
