Over the course of the week, participants received hands-on experience with police equipment, learned tactical strategies, explored criminal law and procedure, and practiced basic first aid, CPR, and firearms safety. Special highlights included a demonstration by K9 Havoc from the Bloomfield Township Police Department, driving simulations, and engaging in CSI techniques and case studies.

A significant focus of the academy was on safety and emergency response skills. By the end of the program, each student earned certifications in CPR/AED and Stop The Bleed, essential abilities that could prove vital in real-life situations. With students actively participating in interactive sessions led by experienced police officers, the program aimed not only to educate but also to inspire young participants to consider careers in law enforcement and to foster a deeper understanding of community safety.
