We have received a number of inquiries over the past few weeks asking about the status of the new $28 million senior housing community proposed on property north of Walton Boulevard, west of the Five Points Community Church. The project named “First and Main” was approved by the City Council for construction on November 10, 2014. Representatives from the development company, Granger Group, have indicated to us that they anticipate breaking ground and intend to begin site grading within the next 30 to 60 days.

Construction of the first phase consisting of a 102-unit assisted living/memory care facility is anticipated to be complete by Summer 2016.
