It’s not the longest construction project in the history of the City of Auburn Hills, but it’s getting towards the top of the list.
The Crystal Palace located at the northwest corner of Walton Boulevard and Opdyke Road is nearing completion. The five-pump (10-dispenser) gas station and 5,340 sq. ft. convenience store was approved by the City Council in June 2009. Construction began in October 2010. Now, four years later the owner believes he’ll be able to open the business by early December.

The owner will be moving his convenience store out of the dilapidated Harry’s Market across the street, where he’s been a tenant for many years. We wish him success.
