This morning, I attended an amazing program at our Community Center honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Pastor Donearl Johnson, Kenny Spear from Kensington Church, Recording Artist Robin Ginyard, Kim Westman from Grace Center of Hope, and Pastor Jaison Koshy from International Christian Church; were the perfect blend of inspiration to honor Dr. King. Those of us who attended left our community center knowing that we just experienced something very special. Included in our program was a service project for Grace Center of Hope located in our neighboring City of Pontiac. Many thanks to those who planned and/or participated in this morning’s event. If you missed it today, you may want to put it on your calendar for next year because a GREAT morning like that doesn’t just happen every day. Then again . . . every morning should be like this morning.
