Over the past year, the Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation (SMART) has been working to create a full network redesign of the bus system through the SMARTer Mobility Program. This initiative aims to create a more effective and efficient transit system that meets the needs of our community.
The SMART project team developed two draft bus network scenarios based on community feedback submitted over the last year:
Scenario 1: Improve Frequency – This option focuses on making bus services more reliable and frequent, ensuring that buses arrive on time and are more regularly available.
Scenario 2: Increase Coverage – This plan aims to address areas currently unserved, providing greater coverage to more neighborhoods and communities.
This summer, SMART is seeking the community’s feedback about what has been designed. Join one of two public meetings to learn more about the two proposed scenarios and share your thoughts.
