Banquet Room
Room Details
- Full Seyburn Room: Seats a maximum of 155. Please note that the use of items such as the dance floor and stage may reduce the maximum seating capacity.
- Seyburn A or B (half room): Seats a maximum of 77.
Important: Clean-up time must be included in the rental hours.
Clean-Up Responsibilities
Clean-up includes, but is not limited to:
- Removal of all food, beverages, decorations, displays, equipment, and any other materials. Please ensure no food is left behind, as any items remaining will be discarded.
- Wiping down tables, chairs, and countertops.
- Any additional clean-up as necessary.
- Building Supervisors will inspect the room upon completion of clean-up. Security deposits will be forfeited if the facility is not left in a clean condition.
- Rental periods that exceed the reserved time will result in a forfeiture of the full deposit after a 15-minute grace period.
Fee Details:
Deposits are due at the time of application. Final payments are due within two weeks of the reservation date. Renters booking less than four weeks from their desired date will be responsible for the deposit and 100% of the rental fees.
Meeting Room
Seats a maximum of 32.

Gymnasium
Room Details:
- Clear liquids are permitted.
- Renters are required to follow posted Gym Rules.
- Reservations must include set-up time and clean-up time within the time frame of the rental.
- Equipment is available to use. Please inquire during your rental call or appointment.
Birthday Party Packages:
Our Birthday Party Packages include a two-hour block in either our Wesson Room and one hour in half of our Gym.
Your one-hour gym rental must be one of the two hours you are renting the Wesson or Carriage Room.
Coffee Cart and Linens
Coffee Carts are available to rent for your event. Included in the coffee cart is regular coffee, decaf coffee, hot water, cups, stirrers, sugar, creamer, and tea bags.
Linens:
Linens are available to rent for your event.
We have the following colors available: White, Black, and Ivory.
Note: Orders for table linens must be placed three weeks prior to the rental date.
Rules and Regulations
Decorating Guidelines
- Decorations must not be attached to walls, ceilings, or sprinkler systems.
- Decorations should not alter or damage any surfaces.
- The use of glitter, confetti, sparkle, loose ribbons, or flower petals is prohibited inside or outside on the patios.
- Tape, pins, staples, or other adhesives are not permitted on walls, doors, windows, ceilings, light fixtures, or service counters.
- Table decorations are allowed.
- All candles must be protected with glass enclosures. Open flames are not permitted at any time, except for birthday cakes.
Restrictions
- No smoking is allowed except in the designated smoking area outside.
- Selling merchandise, food, or other items is prohibited.
- No alcoholic beverages are allowed on the premises.
- Only music suitable for a public facility will be allowed. The volume and content is subject to control by the staff.
- Furniture, equipment, artwork, and similar building fixtures may not be moved from room to room or removed from the building without permission from the administration.
- The piano is not for general use; please do not set anything on it.
Code of Conduct
All patrons are expected to be courteous to other Community Center users. The following actions will not be tolerated and may be cause for suspension or termination of privileges and/or legal prosecution.
- Harassment, intimidation, or similar actions toward patrons or staff.
- Vulgar, obscene, abusive, derogatory, taunting, or demeaning comments and/or gestures.
- Destructive, dangerous, or hazardous behavior to people, equipment, or facilities.
The Community Center management expects participants to adhere to the following Code of Conduct:
- Take direction from staff.
- Show respect to other participants and the staff.
- Show respect for all equipment, supplies, and facilities.
The Community Center management reserves the right to dismiss or refuse admission to the facility to a participant or parent/legal guardian whose behavior endangered the safety of him/her or others.
Dress Code, Attire, and Hygiene
Appropriate attire is required at all times while using the Community Center.
- Shirts and shoes must be worn in all areas at all times.
- All clothing must exhibit good taste and contain no obscene or offensive words or pictures. Management staff shall determine proper attire for these cases.
- Personal hygiene shall not be offensive.
- Pets and/or other animals are not allowed in the building except those leading the blind, and by special permission.
Controlled Substances
Individuals under the influence of or in possession of alcohol, drugs, or other controlled substances will not be permitted on the property or in the Community Center and may be referred to law enforcement.
Food, Beverages, and Tobacco
Patrons must adhere to the following regarding food, beverages, gum, and tobacco:
- Patrons are expected to use trash receptacles at all times.
- Accidental spills and stains should be reported immediately to the front desk to arrange for clean up.
- There shall be no use of tobacco inside the Community Center. Patrons must use the designated smoking area outside of the building on the back patio.
- Patrons with concerns associated with the vending machines should call the number posted on the vending machine to the vending service company.
Supervision
Children under the age of 13 must be directly supervised by an individual 18 years of age or older at all times.
Damages
Any damages to the building or grounds will be charged to the Rental Representative who signs the rental agreement. The Rental Representative is responsible for checking the room for damages and clean-up in the presence of staff before signing the Rental Verification form at the conclusion of the rental. Damages requiring repairs will be billed to the renter based on city labor costs plus materials used.
Deposits and Refunds
Deposits:
Security Deposits will be required for all rentals. All deposit fees will be returned in the form of a check to the applicant's home within approximately 30 days of the rental date if all facilities are left in satisfactory condition.
Refunds:
Rental agreements may be canceled by either party in writing.
Rental date changes:
A $30 fee for all date changes after the deposit has been paid. Rental dates cannot be changed within 14 days of rental date.
Rentals will be subject to the following cancellation fee schedule:
- Refunds will include deposits paid.
- 100% of the hourly rental fees paid, less $30 cancellation fee with a 1-month notice.
- 50% of the hourly rental fees paid, less $30 cancellation fee with 2-4 weeks notice.
- No refund with less than 2 weeks notice.
The Community Center Staff reserves the right to act in the best interest of the Community Center on items not specifically covered in the rules.
Food and Beverage Options
Self-Catering:
Self-catered parties allow renters to either self-cater or use a caterer who only drops off food.
Renters booking the full Seyburn Room or Seyburn A room will have access to:
- Reach-in cooler
- Microwave
- Ice machine
- Freezer
- Prep tables
- Garbage disposal
Renters will not have access to:
- Dish machine
- Walk-in cooler
- Hot and cold ovens
- Dishware, glassware, silverware
- Hot/cold serving stations
- Beverage station (coffee, hot cocoa)
- Paper products
- Serving pieces
- Salt and pepper
