Finance / Treasurer

The Finance/Treasurer Department is dedicated to overseeing and managing all financial processes and maintaining comprehensive accounting records for the City of Auburn Hills.

Our department serves as the central location for all revenue collections, deposits, and investments. We are responsible for the billing and collection of property taxes, as well as the daily distribution of all city receipts, including taxes, water and sewer charges, and other revenues.

We coordinate and prepare the City’s Annual Multi-Year Budget, ensuring a thorough and accurate financial plan. Additionally, we maintain detailed financial records for all operations, encompassing payroll, benefits, pensions, trusts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Our responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with state and federal grant requirements, supporting necessary reporting for these funds, managing the annual financial audit, coordinating risk management, administering insurance programs, and overseeing debt issuances.
