Planning and Zoning

The Planning and Zoning Division of Community Development oversees and implements the community’s vision for the future, beginning with regular reviews and updates to the City’s Master Plan and Zoning Ordinance. Staff members provide professional assistance and technical reviews on all developments throughout the City and provide administrative support to the Planning/Recreation Commission.

Applicants are encouraged to consider a pre-application meeting before submitting a site plan. After a preliminary review, staff will discuss ordinance requirements and areas of concern with potential applicants at this meeting.
