City Clerk
What We Do
We are the information center of the city, maintaining the integrity of public records including the charter, ordinances, resolutions, deeds, and agreements.
The responsibilities of and services provided by the City Clerk’s Office vary widely. Our office provides administrative and clerical support to the City Council. We prepare the agendas, and transcribe the minutes for the Council, and various other boards and commissions of the City.
The City Clerk's Office administers federal, state, and local elections and maintains the voter registration records.
In addition, we are responsible for the dissemination and preservation of official City records, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) responses and issuance of certain required licenses and permits, including Hotel, Liquor, Trash Hauler, and Used Car Lot Licenses.
We encourage you to make use of our resources on this site or at our service counter. We look forward to providing you with friendly, efficient and effective public service.
