The Clerk’s Office is the information center of the city, maintaining the integrity of public records including: the charter, ordinances, resolutions, deeds, and agreements. 

The responsibilities of and services provided by the Clerk’s Office vary widely.  Our office provides administrative and clerical support to the City Council.  The Clerk’s Office prepares the agendas, and records and transcribes the minutes for the Council, and the various other boards and commissions of the City. 

The Clerk's Office administers federal, state and local elections and maintains the records of all registered voters in the City. 

In addition and among its many other duties, this office is responsible for the dissemination and preservation of official City records, Freedom of Information Act responses and issuance of certain required licenses and permits, including Liquor, Trash Hauler, and Used Car Lot Licenses.
