Auburn Hills Fire Department Responds to Fire
Auburn Hills, Michigan, Monday, October 31, 2022 -- At 01:16 am today, the Auburn Hills Fire Department (AHFD) was dispatched to the 300 block of N. Squirrel at the Oakland Estates mobile home park for a reported structure fire. Personnel arrived on scene to find a working fire in the rear of the structure along with a fully involved deck and shed. The residents reported that everyone was out of the home.

Fire crews were initially able to make entry but found the fire was burning in the attic and below the mobile home. Crews exited the structure and extinguished the bulk of the fire from the exterior with handlines and aerial apparatus.

Fire personnel from Rochester Hills and Bloomfield Township provided mutual aid at the scene. Fire Personnel from Rochester City and Orion Township provided fire and EMS backup coverage for the city. Alliance Mobile Health provided EMS standby during the event. Auburn Hills PD assisted on scene.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Two residents and one firefighter were transported to local hospitals for medical emergencies that occurred during the event.
