Press Release - Structure Fire at College Heights Mobile Home Park

Auburn Hills, MI—January 2, 2021— At 12:42 pm on January 2, 2021, the Auburn Hills Fire Department (AHFD) was dispatched to the College Heights Mobile Home Park for a reported structure fire. Personnel arrived on scene to find a working fire in a single-wide mobile home. The residents reported that everyone was out of house. The fire was quickly contained and extinguished by AHFD personnel.
Fire personnel from Rochester Hills and Bloomfield Township assisted on the scene while Rochester City fire personnel provided coverage in the city for additional incidents.
The Auburn Hills Firefighters Helping Hands will be providing the residents with financial assistance for temporary housing. The Auburn Hills Police Department provided the family with gift cards to obtain necessary personal items.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
