FIRE CHIEF MEET & GREET ANNOUNCEMENT
The City of Auburn Hills is pleased to announce an opportunity for citizens to meet our candidate for the role of Fire Chief.  Ellen Taylor will be on hand in the lobby of City Hall on Thursday evening, May 17, 2018 from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. to meet members of the community. Members of City Council, the Public Safety Advisory Committee, and City Staff will also be on hand that evening.

Ms. Taylor is the current Assistant Fire Chief of the City of Ann Arbor, Michigan. After a process which included a review of her resume/credentials, the completion of an internal assessment, and an interview conducted by a recruitment committee consisting of Mayor Pro-tem John Burmeister, City Councilwoman Cheryl Verbeke, Human Resource Generalist Bianca Karjo, Assistant City Manager Don Grice, and City Manager Tom Tanghe; the committee selected Ms. Taylor as their preferred candidate. Upon meeting her pre-employment requirements for Auburn Hills, she will be given a confirmed offer and is expected to begin her role with the City of Auburn Hills as our next Fire Chief on or about August 1.

There is no need to RSVP for this event. Citizens are welcome to attend at any time during the Meet and Greet. Light refreshments will be served.
Citizens who wish to attend should enter City Hall through the main entrance located off Seyburn Drive. Parking Lots 2 & 3 are in closest proximity to the main entrance to City Hall.
