The City of Auburn Hills will be conducting water main replacement and road reconstruction activities along Auburn Road in the downtown area.  We would like to take this opportunity to  invite you to a public meeting for a more detailed description of the project.

Both Auburn and Squirrel roads will be open to traffic during construction, however there will be lane shifts and intermittent lane closures which will affect traffic flow in the area.  It is anticipated that all construction activities will take place during weekdays with some minor exceptions and potential for overnight work.  Night work would be limited to restoring water connections to not disrupt any business during hours of operation.  The contractors will work diligently to maintain local access and minimizing the disruption to our residents and businesses throughout the duration of the project. 

If you would like more information, a public meeting will occur at the Auburn Hills University Center, 3350 Auburn Road, Tuesday, March 27, from 1:00 – 2:30 PM.  There will be a presentation regarding the specific improvements, anticipated timelines of completion and construction phasing.  At the conclusion of the meeting, representatives of the City of Auburn Hills, contractors from Pamar Enterprises, Inc., and engineers from Orchard, Hiltz & McCliment will be available to answer questions regarding individual properties.
