FALL IS IN THE AIR OCTOBER 14^TH AT THE HAWK WOODS NATURE CENTER 

20^TH Annual ‘Fall Festival in the Woods’ features Hay Rides, Pumpkin Carving, Cider & Donuts and More!

According to Auburn Hills Recreation Director Brian Marzolf, ‘Fall Festival in the Woods’ is all about enjoying what our beautiful fall season in Michigan has to offer. 

“This is such a great time of year for people to get out and enjoy all the best fall activities in one place.  Last year, more than 1,000 people enjoyed this annual celebration and discovered Hawk Woods Nature Center’s beautiful setting and endless opportunities for outdoor recreation,” Marzolf says. 

In addition to hands-on nature center activities and education stations, the ‘Fall Festival in the Woods’ will feature horse-drawn hay rides, live music by the Blue Water Ramblers, demonstrations and free cider and donuts.  Pumpkin carving and painting will also be available.  Pumpkins may be purchased on a first-come first-served basis.

“The Fall Festival in the Woods is one of my family’s favorite events for the fall.  It’s a wonderful opportunity to visit Hawk Woods and enjoy our unique facility during the season if you have never been,” said Mayor Kevin McDaniel.

The E.
