Commend or Complain
Challenge Coin Final

As a community-oriented law enforcement agency, the Auburn Hills Police Department strives to make your contacts with the department professional and informative in every way.

When you have been helped by an Auburn Hills Police Officer, or other employee, you can recommend a commendation for that person. If you have had an unprofessional or otherwise unpleasant experience with an officer or other employee, you may register a complaint with the department. The department has confidence in its employees, and expects them to maintain a high degree of professionalism, dedication, and expertise in the delivery of law enforcement services.

It is the policy of this department to accept and investigate all complaints of alleged
misconduct against the agency or its employees (including, but not limited to,
anonymous complaints, concerns of bias influenced policing, unethical behavior, and
conduct unbecoming) and to equitably determine whether the allegations are valid or
invalid and to take appropriate action.
